    With a brief yet concise description of the science of tajweed, its terminology and basic rules and applications, Tajweed Basics 1 is the second level course of the Learn to Read Al-Qur'aan Program. The course is ideal for the prospective student who has completed Reading Foundations or is able to read Arabic and the Qur'aan, but is not familiar with Tajweed terminology and the mechanics of applying the basic rules of Tajweed. It is currently available to sisters only.
